James Burton was her brother's best friend until one day that friendship was tainted by something that neither of them wanted to admit. The problem: Mariella Alvarez had a crush on James. A really big one. They fell hard and fast until one fateful event tied them to each other, giving them more than that they were bargaining for. As fast as they fell, when they crashed, it burned. Told between the past and the present, it follows Mariella and James as one weekend makes them realize that their hearts might still beat for each other.
