Blogger Terms

Publisher: Novecta Technologies Pvt Ltd (“Company”, “we”, “us”). Bookberry and bookberry.club are brands operated by the Company. These Blogger Terms apply when you apply for, operate, or publish on the Bookberry Blog.

1. Agreement

By applying to become a Blogger, claiming a handle, or publishing a Blog post, you agree to these Blogger Terms, the Bookberry Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not apply or publish.

We may update these Blogger Terms. Material changes may require re-acceptance before you can publish again.

2. Eligibility and approval

You must have a Bookberry account in good standing.
Blogging is available only to users we approve (readers, partners, or Bookberry editorial accounts). Approval is discretionary.
Until your status is active, you may not publish public or private Blog posts.
Bookberry may suspend or terminate Blogger status for Terms / Guidelines violations, legal risk, or inactivity.

3. Handle and identity

Your handle forms your public URL (https://bookberry.club/blog/{handle}/…).
Handles are permanent while held (pending, active, or suspended). You cannot rename a held handle yourself.
Rejected applications release the handle. Suspended profiles keep the handle reserved.
Impersonation of Bookberry, publishers, authors, or other users is prohibited.

4. Your content — ownership and license

You retain ownership of original content you create, subject to third-party rights. By publishing, you grant Bookberry a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, create teasers/excerpts for subscribers, and index public posts for search and discovery. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe others’ rights.

5. Public vs private posts

Public posts may appear in search, sitemaps, and crawlers.
Private posts are limited to your account subscribers (and you). They are not intended for public search. Private does not create an NDA with Bookberry or subscribers.
Email teasers are sent for public posts to subscribers who have email enabled.

6. Formatting and media

Bookberry controls presentation fonts. Pasted custom fonts/styles may be stripped. Inline images must use Bookberry-approved media hosts. Scripts, malware, or deceptive markup are prohibited.

7. Catalog associations

You may associate posts with book works, authors, and publications in good faith. Broken associations after catalog merges may be omitted from display.

8. Prohibited content

In addition to Community Guidelines, do not publish illegal content, piracy, defamation, harassment, hate speech, sexual content involving minors, scams, impersonation, or spam meant to manipulate rankings.

9. Moderation

Bookberry may review, unpublish, archive, or delete posts; apply rate limits; and suspend Bloggers. Removal may trigger a notification where practicable.

10. Subscriptions and email

Readers Subscribe with a Bookberry account (MVP). You must not harvest subscriber information for off-platform spam.

11. No employment

Becoming a Blogger does not make you an employee, agent, or partner of Bookberry. No payment is owed unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
